Does the uncovery model conflict with my clients' recovery processes?
Not at all. Whether your clients are working on understanding addiction with you or in the presence of other current practices, such as 12-step groups, no information presented in this course is meant to diminish any support or help from any other source.

Dr. Adam Schilling
Dr. Schilling holds a doctoral degree in higher education and social change, a master’s degree in marital and family therapy, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He has also completed training and certification courses in both sex addiction and positive psychology. Adam was an elementary school teacher for nine years before heading out on a career path involving mental and emotional health. He began this path working for a sex addiction treatment center in 2011, and he moved on to continue his own private practice as a positive psychology, relationship, and addiction treatment coach in 2017. He continues in this practice currently.
